Passionate about perfumery, Patrik Mauboussin, who led the brand in the 90s, proposed to create 'precious perfumes.' The first bottle in the shape of a tetrahedron symbolized the crystallization of an uncut diamond — an obvious choice of shape for a jeweler creating gifts for women.
