Iris can be so varied — from delicate powdery to melancholic with shades of fresh greenery. The perfumer describes the fragrance composition as an artist's creative workshop, where paints, brushes, canvases, and watercolor sketches are closely intertwined into a whole, creating an amazing atmosphere. The fragrance begins with a light dramatic white floral pause framed by tart cognac notes. Then iris comes into play. Slightly dusty, with a hint of the importance of the moment, iris gives the bouquet a cool powdery quality and the natural astringency of living flowers. Amber and musk create a warm enticing halo around the flower. Initially light and transparent, the fragrance acquires a sophisticated trail and the signature style of the Arabesque Perfumes house in the finale.
