The effectiveness of the depigmenting action of the MELASCREEN corrector is due to its innovative composition, including concentrated azelaic acid and glycolic acid:
• Azelaic acid provides powerful depigmenting action and also:
- Inhibits the enzyme involved in melanin synthesis - tyrosinase,
- Reduces the intensity of pigment spot coloration.
• Glycolic acid is a reference AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) in dermatology:
- Keratolytic, improves the removal of dead cells from the epidermis,
- Enhances the action of azelaic acid by improving its penetration into the superficial layers of the epidermis.
After application, pigment spots disappear and brown spots lighten.
