Product description

Bonne Chauffe pays homage to the "bonne chauffe," the crucial second distillation in cognac production. This fragrance captures the essence of this intense process with its powerful, smoky woods aroma, evoking the warmth of a roaring fire on a winter evening. With notes of intense davana, dark plum, spicy vetiver, and resinous woods, it's an unforgettable scent, reminiscent of the expertise of Frapin's cognac distillers.

The Fragrance Pyramid

The Fragrance Pyramid

The top or initial notes, woven from light and volatile components, give the composition its initial sound and create a mood. These notes last for a few minutes and prepare for the main fragrance.

The bright sound of the top notes smoothly transitions into the main accord – the heart notes. This is where the main melody plays, defining the fragrance's family, character, and recognizability. They can last up to 2 hours.

The heart notes transition into the warmth of the final, trailing, or base notes. These notes give the composition a sensual sound, ensure the longevity of the composition, and determine its richness. They can last up to 8 hours.

The duration of the notes depends on the fragrance composition, skin characteristics, application method, and is provided as an estimate.
